Vegas! The Show – On Tuesday night I went to see this new show at the renamed Saxe Theater in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood (formerly magician Steve Wyrick’s Theater). This was the second time I saw the show, the first time was during pre-opening and again this past week now that the show is officially open. All I can say is the musical numbers choreographed by Tiger Martina are absolutely amazing and so are the dancers (you can really tell the difference on the numbers that are not Tiger originals). I have had the opportunity to meet Tiger backstage while he was performing with Liza Minnelli and he is one gifted choreographer. In my opinion, the rest of the show is still missing something and a few numbers need to be reconsidered – Louie Prima, Sony, and blond Elvis! Geez, at least put a black wig on the guy doing Elvis. If you don’t have the correct ethnicities in a cast to play certain characters, then change that number and impersonate one of the many other Las Vegas legends with your cast that can better portray who they are suppose to be.

??? – Is David Saxe really loosing ten’s of thousands of dollars a week with this above mentioned show and will he be cutting back to only one show per night in his 444 seat theater instead of the current two shows?

??? – Is it true that we might be seeing the opening of ANOTHER comedy club here in Vegas, off-strip at Flamingo and Arville in the center next to Pole Position indoor kart racing? Will this new club have Tim Allen’s name on it?

Lisa Lampanelli – Tickets go on sale this Friday October 15 for the ‘Queen of Mean’ at the Palms for her January 15, 2011 performance. Tickets are $49.50 + taxes/fees and can be purchased at the Palms’ Box Office or at TicketMaster.com. Lisa, most known for her raunchy humor from Comedy Central, has been called a ‘female Don Rickles’.She is one funny lady if you like that style of comedy.

Eva Longoria Parker - In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Eva Longoria Parker will be immortalized in wax by Madame Tussauds at her Las Vegas nightclub, Eve, on Wednesday, October 13.

To commemorate this event, the multi-talented philanthropist, producer, and star of ABC-TV’s “Desperate Housewives,” will be in attendance at Eve for a side-by-side, private unveiling of her figure. Following the reveal, Longoria Parker will host Eve Wednesdays, Vegas’ hottest industry night at 10:30 p.m.
