ANDY GRAMMER WILL BRING HIS TOUR TO GREEN VALLEY RANCH RESORT
Acclaimed multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer, who is known for engaging, energizing and empowering audiences around the world with his chart-topping radio hits, is bringing “The Art of Joy Tour” to Green Valley Ranch Resort on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022. Tickets start at $37.50. Doors open at 7 p.m.
This tour comes on the heels of Grammer’s new single “Damn It Feels Good To Be Me,” which he wrote about owning your individuality. The song has been one of the most added tracks at Adult Pop radio the past two weeks and just had its chart debut.
“Damn It Feels Good To Be Me” follows “Lease On Life,” a song created under the inspiration of a newfound perspective the singer gained during the pandemic. His second daughter was born two weeks into the lockdown, and as months rolled on with future touring and recording more uncertain than ever, he did a whole lot of soul-searching and grasped for meaning. Through personal analysis, some very helpful therapy, and a lot of time with his family, he began to derive self-worth from within rather than outside of himself, which helped realign his approach to music. Both tracks will be featured on Grammer’s forthcoming fifth full-length album due out in early 2022.
ADAM LAMBERT WILL PERFORM FIVE SHOWS AT THE VENETIAN
Billboard chart topping, multi-award winning, multi-platinum-selling-singer-songwriter and headliner Adam Lambert is bringing his soaring voice to The Venetian Theatre for a five-show limited engagement Oct. 22, 23, 27, 29 and 30 with 8 p.m. performances. Tickets start at $36.65.
Lambert rose to fame in 2009 after finishing as runner-up on the eighth season of “American Idol.” Since 2009, he has sold more than 3 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide. He has been performing in arenas with Queen over the past several years. This will be a chance to see him perform solo in an up-close-and-personal setting in the intimate, 1,800-seat theater.
DONDINO HEADLINES SHOW IN LAS VEGAS
Global singer-entertainer Dondino is set to illuminate the stage at the popular local Italian American Club (IAC) on Wednesday, Oct. 27. His intimate show and showmanship will present an evening of song with Dondino performing a mix of popular standards as well as new and original compositions backed by a live orchestra of masterful musicians. Dondino maintains a major career as a concert artist having appeared on world stages including the elaborate Latin Quarter in Japan, Palm Springs Hilton Rivera, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Atlantis Hotel Casino in Atlantic City, to name a few.
Dondino is also the founder and president of the Read To Me Foundation dedicated to promoting literacy for children. The organization distributes free new, hardcover, bilingual (English-Spanish and English-Hawaiian) children’s books to Head Start programs, Ronald McDonald Houses, children’s hospitals, and charities.
LIL BABY WILL RETURN TO DRAI’S LIVE STAGE
Lil Baby for the first time in nearly two years will be back at Drai’s Nightclub on Saturday, Nov. 6.The mega-star will make his grand return to the rooftop nightclub with a full-length Drai’s LIVE show. Lil Baby’s show will follow the fight between boxing champions Canelo Álvarez and Caleb Plant set to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Lil Baby was awarded the title of “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist” at the 2021 BET Music Awards, and his album entitled “My Turn” won “Hip-Hop Album of the Year” at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards. His most recent album, which was released in July in collaboration with Lil Durk, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
BRIAN NEWMAN ADDS OCTOBER LATE-NIGHT SHOWS AT NOMAD
Trumpeter and singer Brian Newman is adding 12 new dates of his late-night show “Brian Newman: After Dark” at NoMad. He will perform at the NoMad Library Oct. 14–17, 21–24 and 28–31 with all shows scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. Serving as the bandleader for the “Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano” resident show at Park Theater, Newman designed his show as an ode to vintage Las Vegas, creating a late-night rendezvous filled with music and good friends. NoMad Library features a menu of handcrafted cocktails, wine and small bites for showgoers to enjoy.
BURLESQUE EXPERIENCE ‘RATED RED’ OPENS AT AREA15
“RATED RED: A Tantalizing Burlesque Experience” is opening at AREA15 this Friday, Oct. 8 with performances every Friday at 9 and 11 p.m. inside The Portal, the 360-degree projection-mapped room. Guests can expect to experience classic burlesque, acrobatic, pole and showgirl performances to a mix of live and recorded music. Standard seated tickets start at $75.
The show’s up-and-coming American jazz-funk hip hop choreographer is Jawkeen Howard whose style comprises a smooth, intricate, sexy, energetic and melodic movement inspired by the late Bob Fosse. He has worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Kanye West, Jill Scott, The Killers, Josh Strickland and many others.
FREAKLING BROS. HORROR SHOWS RETURNS WITH THREE HAUNTS
For the 2021 Halloween season, Freakling Bros. Horror Shows have added a haunting new experience inside the award-winning Gates of Hell, Nevada’s first and only R-rated haunt. The Men’s Room is a provocative, grotesque and immersive new experience. The attraction is operating Oct. 7–10 and 14–31 in the IKEA parking lot at 6555 S. Riley Street.
Rated the scariest haunt in the country by “USA Today,” Freakling Bros. Horror Shows returns for its 29th horrifying year in Las Vegas. Offering a hellishly curated festival of nightmares, there are three expertly crafted haunts in one location, including Gates of Hell, the groundbreaking COVEN of 13, and the timeless classic Castle Vampyre.
The Freakling Bros. Horror Shows box office operates from 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and until 11 p.m. Sundays–Thursdays through Thursday, Oct. 21 and until midnight Oct. 22–31. Haunt lines will close 45 minutes after the ticket booth closes.
For the first time there are “All You Can Scream” passes. Park admission is $50 per person and includes unlimited trips through all three haunts on the night of purchase. General admission passes also include a free trip to the Freakling Bros resident Fortune Teller, nightly food trucks and up-close-and-personal performances by the Freakling scare characters. The show starts when you enter the park.
RTC BIKE SHARE CELEBRATES FIFTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is celebrating five years of bike share service in the downtown Las Vegas community and offering $5 30-day pass promo, weekly self-guided tours, and social media giveaways.
The RTC Bike Share offers 21 convenient stations and more than 200 bikes. In celebration, now through Sunday, Oct. 31, riders can experience downtown Las Vegas on a bike by taking advantage of a special $5 promo for all Explorer (30-day) passes, which normally costs $15. Customers can use promo code RTCBIKE5 during check-out.
To reward RTC Bike Share customers during the anniversary month, all riders will be entered to win a branded Jabba Bluetooth speaker each week. Customers can also enter to win the grand prize of two lower-level tickets to the upcoming Vegas Golden Knights game on Nov. 9 against the Seattle Kracken by posting a photo of their ride on their public social media channels and tagging @RTCSNV and #RTCBIKE5.
Customers can participate in weekly self-guided tours, which will be released through RTC’s Blog and Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. The weekly tours focus on coffee joints, unique restaurants, and entertainment.
To end the month of celebrations, a spooky-themed bike will be available during Halloween weekend, Oct. 29–31. Riders will be given clues on the RTC’s Instagram channel to locate the pop-up themed bike.
AGE OF CHIVALRY RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 27 YEARS
The family-friendly 27th annual Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival will return to Sunset Park Friday-Sunday, Oct. 15–17 with authentic medieval fun.
The three-day outdoor event features more than 100 artisans, historical reenactments, various shows per day and plenty of authentic food and drinks. Guests can experience full-contact jousting tournaments, live combat battles, no-holds-bar gladiator battles, black powder demonstrations, strolling minstrels, contortionists, magicians, storytellers, jokers, jugglers, flame eaters, belly dancers, trained parrots and pirates.
Additional attractions include bow and arrow and axe target games, medieval barber and surgeon demonstrations, Princess Tea Party and storytelling, Scavenger Hunt and Renaissance guilds for interaction.
Event hours start at 10 a.m. each day and run until 10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Check the lvrenfair.com website for tickets. For example, single day general admission tickets are $15 for adults and $35 for all three days and children aged5 and younger are free.
THE 2021 WORLD SERIES OF POKER® IS UNDERWAY AT THE RIO
The 52nd annual World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) is officially underway at the Rio. The gaming industry’s largest and most prestigious poker tournament series has competitors from around the world competing in one of 88 highly coveted WSOP gold bracelet events now through Tuesday, Nov. 23 for the chance to be immortalized as poker royalty.
In addition to the in-person tournament at the Rio, the 2021 WSOP is once again bringing the action to Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania players online with gold bracelet tournaments each held Sunday on WSOP.com through Sunday, Nov. 21.

NEW PUMPKIN CHUNK'N FESTIVAL TO BE HELD OCT. 23
Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada will hold the inaugural Pumpkin Chunk’n Festival on Saturday, Oct. 23. The fall-themed, family-friendly fundraising event will provide another use for pumpkins and a fun way to raise funds to support the nonprofit organization's financial literacy programs. The outdoor festival will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main parking lot at World Market Center, 475 S. Grand Central Pkwy.
The event's featured activity will be the Pumpkin Chuck’n Competition. Teams of five will use a specially designed slingshot to launch pumpkins down a 200-yard range. Each team member will launch one pumpkin. Teams will be scored on best distance, team costumes and fundraising. To participate in the Pumpkin Chunk’n Competition, each team member must raise at least $100 each.
Other Pumpkin Chunk’n activities will include carnival games, costume contest, inflatables, hay maze, pumpkin patch, food trucks, trunk or treat, face painting and more. Entrance to the festival is free with tickets available for purchase for the various activities.
RAIL EXPLORERS OFFERSNEON LIGHTS NIGHT TOURS DAILY
Rail Explorers Las Vegas, which is a year-round, all-ages, outdoor-adventure attraction, features pedal-powered rail bikes, and offers guests a Neon Lights Night Tour, seven nights a week. This distinctly novel and memorable experience takes guests on a pedal-powered, four-mile journey astride a colorfully illuminated rail bike. In addition, guests are encouraged to bring their best blacklight attire and glow sticks.
Guests pedal the Rail Explorers rail bikes four miles downhill from the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City to the Railroad Pass picnic area, where they may relax in the signature red Adirondack chairs. Each experience concludes with a ride aboard a historic train back to the tour’s starting point. A tandem rail bike for two starts at $90 and a quad rail bike for four guests starts at $160. Tours are at 8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Del Taco Restaurants, Inc., the nation’s second largest Mexican quick service restaurant by number of units, has a multi-unit deal with successful franchise group, Feel Good Brands (FGB), with plans for three new locations on the Las Vegas Strip and vicinity. Jeff Little, Del Taco’s SVP of Development, said with Feel Good Brands they will open Del Tacos in several of the legendary Las Vegas casinos.

The eighth annual HallOVeen at the Magical Forest starts up this week and runs Oct. 8–10, 15–17 and 22–31. The celebration benefitting Opportunity Village sat dormant last year due to COVID-19. The haunted 2.5-acre theme park beckons spooky creatures of all shapes and sizes. For 2021, you’ll meet many of them as you walk through a cemetery surrounded by hundreds of spooktacularly decorated trees and jack-o-lanterns. Tickets can be purchased on Opportunity Village’s website. This year admission includes all rides and access to the two mini-escape rooms.
The Pride Parade will take place Friday, Oct. 8 beginning at 7 p.m. at the intersection of 45h Street and Bridger Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.

Over the weekend, three-time Grammy award winner, TIP, who turned 41 on Sept. 25, celebrated a belated birthday at Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub during his performance on Oct. 1. The rapper was honored on stage with an elaborate birthday cake presented by the Drai’s Dolls complete with sparklers and oversized cutouts of his face. The following afternoon, TIP performed at Drai’s Beachclub, where he was presented with a second birthday cake.
Last weekend, American stand-up comedian and recording artist Lil Duval with 3.6M followers was at Jardin Premium Cannabis Dispensary as the part of the Celebrity Guest Budtender Series.
